Doculayer helps enterprises to turn their vast amounts of unstructured documents into business value. Our intelligent content platform processes and manages unstructured information, such as (scanned) documents and images, using innovative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. In doing so, the platform can automatically analyze, enhance, enrich and improve the findability of large quantities of data. Doculayer is built on a modern platform using Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Java, machine learning framework and other Open Source components, like GraphQL and React.js.

Your role in a nutshell


Doculayer is expanding and to support our growth we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Recruiter to join our team in identifying hiring needs and filling job openings.

As acquiring talented people is getting harder, the Recruiter’s position will play a crucial role for our company to stay competitive in the market. 


As a Recruiter your responsibilities include sourcing, screening and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. You will also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire and ensure we attract the best professionals. You will build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our positions.


To be a successful Recruiter, you should have affinity with technical roles, and skills, as well as knowledge of the recruitment process.




  • Identifying future hiring needs, technical requirements, and specifications
  • Collaborating with the Management and team members to compile a consistent list of requirements
  • Writing job descriptions and posting to relevant media platforms
  • Attracting suitable candidates through databases, job search website, social media, employee referrals, etc.
  • Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
  • Screening applicants for competency with the job requirements
  • Arranging telephone, video, or in-person interviews
  • Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions

 Your skills and experiences 


  • Experience in recruitment processes and platforms
  • A practical disposition and a good command of the Dutch and English language verbally and in writing
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical job requirements
  • The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies
  • Good interpersonal and decision-making skills
  • The ability to conduct different types of interviews
