As Doculayer we also deliver and support a platform based on Oracle WCC and custom java application and for this platform we are looking for a new hire.

Your role in a nutshell


Doculayer is expanding and to support our growth we are looking for a Technical Engineer to join the Delivery Team. The Delivery Team consists of Technical Application Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Backend Developers, Test Specialist and Project Manager collaborating together to offer the best product support to our clients.


The Delivery Team is responsible for configuring and deploying product increments to customers, providing customer support, and for supporting the internal infrastructure. The Delivery Team works closely with the Product Development Team, who is responsible for creating the Doculayer product increments.


As a Technical Engineer you will be responsible for installing and configuring software for our customers, handling customer incidents, troubleshooting and fixing them, and where necessary, consult the development team and the Customer. You will also be responsible for IT security and compliance, ensure that the processes within Doculayer are set up in such a way that (legal) obligations are met and information is adequately protected. You will be developing, implementing and monitoring the (new) information security strategies and policies so that any security risks in the services and IT systems and processes are identified in a timely manner.

  • Installing and configuring our software solutions
  • Incident management - monitoring, troubleshooting and fixing incidents
  • Defining, implementing and managing Information Security Measures
  • Initiating and managing information security measures, awareness and projects
  • Reporting to the management team about the status and findings of the information security within the organization
  • Identifying, Reporting and Managing Security Incidents
  • Proposing and implementing Information Security improvements, e.g. security-by-design
  • Conducting risk analyses and making improvement recommendations
  • Supervising security audits and pen tests

Your skills and experiences 

  • Work experience in Information Technology and/or Information Security
  • Experience with Linux platform: System Administrator basic knowledge
  • Database knowledge – Oracle/SQL
  • Basic programming language – you are able to read code
  • Shell scripting knowledge – you can read/modify scripts
  • Basic application server knowledge (Tomcat/Weblogic)
  • The ability to read, write, and speak in Dutch and English
  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO27001 & ISO27002, OWASP, Pen testing is a plus
  • Experience in Installing/Configuring/Troubleshooting WebCenter Content is a plus
